Joanne is a Senior Consultant at Harbour Future Leaders (HFL), providing organisations with strategies, learning and tools to attract, retain and develop leaders of choice.

She has extensively researched effective leadership styles and techniques, plus successes with Fortune 500 Organisations, and brings this research and passion to all her learning and coaching interventions.

Before this role Joanne consulted across multiple industries, and boasts experience with multinationals that include SOCOG, IBM, HBOS, Optus, Van Leer and QANTAS. Joanne has designed and implemented a range of end-to-end learning solutions, and key note speaking engagements, in call centres, retail outlets and corporate environments, and has worked throughout Australia, Singapore, Thailand and Japan.

Adding to her extensive staff leadership and front-line management experience, Joanne has completed a Masters of Professional Education and Training through Deakin University, giving her a ‘real world’ framework backed by disciplined learning that she is able to convey to program participants and clients alike. She is also an accredited trainer holding accreditations in Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and Time Management Systems (TMS).

Joanne’s experience includes:

developing job competencies for a national sales group by coaching executives to identify and address job and individual competency groups;
working with CEOs and top 1100 leaders to create an effective mentoring culture within an organisation comprising of eight separate registered organisations;
designing, implementing and managing a global train-the-trainer program, preparing over 10,000 trainers, leaders and staff for cultural, technical and operational changes;
designing and facilitating a leadership and change program to 1200 staff, achieving sustainable improvements in leadership techniques, team performance and customer engagement;
coaching individuals at front-line and leadership levels to identify their drivers and potential, forming achievable and inspiring life and career plans; and
facilitating SWOT analyses with leaders to achieve group agreement and planning around future direction
